Does anyone know what is going on with Circus of the Damned blog? They haven't posted anything for some time now. That's where I cut my horror teeth. I had submitted another poem last year and I haven't had a reply. I contacted them on F.B. page and they cited "too busy" to attend to his blog. He offered an editing job to me. I never answered him because I had some health issues to attend to (and am still attending to). I have never been an editor. Wouldn't even know how to do the job or approach it.
(5-2-2013) Found out that Circus of the Damned is back blogging. I had thought that it had expired. Glad he found another editor. It's not an easy job. I have submitted a new poem to them already. A welcome back, of sorts.

(5-2-2013) All previously Pill Hill/Static Movement print anthologies are to be picked up by JWK Fiction. The prices have been lowered on: Hell, Songs for the Raven, Grave Robbers, and Serial Killers Iterum. Most are available as Kindle books.

(2-27-2013) Serial Killers Iterum has been released for sale on Amazon. Hell will be next followed by Grave Robbers. The last to hit print will be Songs For The Raven, which is still accepting submissions.
(2-16-2013) James Ward Kirk has pull Songs For The Raven and Serial Killers 2 from Static Movement because of their inability to see anthologies through to print. He will print the books under his banner. Maybe "Hell" and "Grave Robbers" will soon follow?
(2-7-2013) Submitted to the Indiana Review two poems, "With All Due Respect" and "November 22, 1963". 'Respect' was an introspective work about death and funerals dedicated to friends and co-workers. '11-22-63' was a shortened history of JFK and LBJ. Both were rejected, Oh well!
(2-11-2013) I will be published in 26 different Static Movement Anthologies as of today. That means that more than one editor there liked my work enough to print it. All pieces, save two, were poetry.
(1-28-2013) E-mail exchanges between myself and Dorothy Davies of SM assured me that there is a plan "B" for getting SM anthologies out in print. I still have doubts about Jessy of PHP taking on the anthologies of SM alone. Twins will take a major chunk of her time. And the payback from doing just SM anthologies would be minimal. Editors at SM haven't been paid for over 2 years. Their pay is very small, so SM can't even meet that. Doesn't look too good for SM either.
After threading with Chris Bartholomew who runs Static Movement on 1-22-2013, I believe that all SM anthologies WILL get into print somehow. So now I'm setting my sights on submitting poems to James Ward Kirk and Murphy Edwards for Indiana Crime 2013.
Bad news today(1-22-2013), Pill Hill Press the publisher for Static Movement anthologies, has folded. What that means for all of author's contributions to the books, I don't know yet. What a waste of good stories, poetry and the author's time/effort.
Visions Across 20 Light Years anthology accepted poetry from me today. Demonology and Fountain of Youth-The Downside also accepted poetry. That's a total of 17 different anthologies at Static Movement that I am in as a contributor.(1-20-2013)
News today (1-15-2013) from 30 Day Poetry Challenge Anthology. They will publish a poem of mine soon.
I am happy that Static Movement has accepted so many of my poems into their anthologies. I had a blast writing them. More murder and mayhem on their way to the printed page.
The anthology,"The Ghoul Saloon" from Static Movement has accepted my poem,"Ghoulish Gourmet". Wrote it last night about 3am. Sent in @ 10am, accepted @ 10:30am! That's FAST!!
A poem titled, "One Zombie Night" was written for an anthology called Bullets and Blades. It was rejected because it is a poem not a story. It was submitted to another offering from Static Movement. We shall see what happens with this poem. I also submitted "Devil Lust" again to Demonology anthology at Static Movement. It is under review for copyright issues. Again, we shall see.
"Power Outage", a poem written while the wife was napping yesterday, was accepted by the Static Movement anthology "In The Darkness". There are several more poems awaiting reply from Static Movement.
"Devil's Lust" was rejected by Haunted Waters Press. Sent to Static Movement anthologies. We'll see what happens next. Several poems have been sent their way today. Awaiting developments. You'll be the first to know!
"Estate Sale" was accepted by Nameless after laying around for 7 months. Wonders never cease. But "Devils" was rejected by Nameless after the same amount of time. I have retitled "Devils" to "Devil's Lust" and rewrote it. It mirrors the movie, The Exorcist. Cue Tubular Bells. It was submitted to Haunted Waters Press. An essay written for The Change Agent was accepted and carried a monetary award. A poem was written to assist Sandy victims, was submitted.
My mind wandered and I came across an anthology edited by George Wilhite located at Static Movement. This being the Holiday season, I wrote a poem about 'Changeling Santa'. What a goofy idea! I was motivated to get yet another poem into print. I'm 60 so times a wastin'. I feel like I've just hit my stride. I'll probably be looking to get into more anthologies at Static Movement and others edited by James Ward Kirk. I would urge anyone wanting to get something published to submit your work to George Wilhite or James Ward Kirk Fiction and get your story or poems into print. Follow the guidelines on Static Movement when you submit your work.
